Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Couples Instructional Massage

Lovingly invest in your significant other by scheduling a Couples Instructional Massage. In this instructional session, you'll learn a new way to relax with each other and develop additional communication skills which deepens intimacy. Let me teach you how to give a basic Swedish massage for tight shoulders or a stiff neck. Or a scalp massage for tension headaches.
Each guest receives a 45 minute massage from their partner under my instruction. I will demonstrate what parts of the hand, fingers and forearm to use for beginner massage strokes. By the end of the massage, you will have basic massage skills for home use. You will leave feeling relaxed with a renewed sense of partnership as well as a sample of massage cream.
